More room around a rifle stock

With some over-ear muffs, the lower cup can touch the stock and shift the seal. HQ-EE460 uses a low-profile cup to leave more clearance. Actual fit still depends on head shape, cheek weld and stock position, so stock clearance is worth checking on a sample.

Hear speech without lifting the muffs

Twin omni-directional microphones bring speech and range commands through the internal speakers. A side knob controls the listening volume, while sound-activated compression works around louder impulse noise.

The 3.5 mm AUX input accepts an external audio source. The hearing protection still works passively when the electronics are switched off.
